Activities and Excursions

The romantic Schwertberg Castle is located between Vienna and Salzburg in Upper Austria. Experience unique day trips to the capital of Austria or to the birthplace of Mozart.

The famous Saint Florian Monastery is in the immediate vicinity. Linz, with its countless museums and cultural exhibitions, can also be reached in 30 minutes. The historic Windegg castle ruins are also a popular excursion destination.

The castle itself is nestled between the forest, a beautiful garden, the Aist river and all necessities in town are within walking distance (supermarket, bakery, drugstore, pharmacy, pizzeria, etc.)

The large swimming pool, bathhouse and tennis court are located in the forest.
